Piggy, who likes walking down the side of her owners’ fridge, has received more than 700,000 hits of YouTube since a 30-second video of her amazing antics was posted.
The clip shows the cat walking halfway down the side of the fridge, then pausing for several seconds before finally descending to the floor.
Paul Hickson and Danielle Mondin live with seven-year-old Piggy and their other cat Bear – who appears briefly at the end of the video – in Wymondham, Norfolk.
Miss Mondin, 29, said: ‘There is never a dull moment with Piggy in the house. We are shocked at how big the video has become.’
‘We don’t know how or why Piggy does it or what comes into her head,’ she told the Norwich Evening News.
‘She starts off walking down the fridge normally but then stops halfway down and balances there. She stays there looking round the kitchen and then completes the walk to the floor.
‘Otherwise she’s a normal domestic cat we’ve had since she was born. She’s very affectionate, noisy and generally makes herself known.’
